Hi:

You need this driver...

This package contains the drivers for the supported Atheros Wireless LAN Adapters in the supported notebook models running a supported operating system.

Hi:

If your notebook has an Atheros ar5b225, that is the driver you need.

Do you see the wireless network adapter listed under the Network Adapters device manager category?

If not, do you see a device labeled as a Network Controller?  That would be the wifi card that needs a driver.

If you do not see either...Atheros ar5b225, or Network Controller, then see if installing this software, restarting the PC and turning on the wifi card using this software gets the wifi adapter to show up.

This package provides the HP Connection Manager for the supported notebook models and operating systems.

OK, good that you can see the Network Controller.

Please post the hardware ID for the Network Controller device.

Use this guide for how to find the hardware ID...
