HP ENVY 17.3 inch Laptop PC 17-cr0000 (537Z9AV)

Hello. I am in search of drivers for my HP Envy 17.3 inch laptop. The laptop came with Windows 11, but I decided to install Windows 10 on it, once I realized there were compatibility issues with my DJ hardware and Windows 11. I installed Windows 10 using a USB drive upon boot.

After the update, I installed all the drivers I could using the HP support links. Unfortunately, this only lists drivers for Windows 11, and some of these are not working for Windows 10. Is it possible to get working Windows 10 drivers for the following?

- Synaptics Touchpad: This touchpad is not showing up in Device Manager, but can be seen to be Synaptics Precision Touchpad Filter Driver, via the drivers page HP ENVY 17.3 inch Laptop PC 17-cr0000 (537Z9AV) Software and Driver Downloads | HP® Customer Support.

- Built-in speaker (Bang & Olufsen)

How can I find the drivers I need to enable the touchpad and speakers for Windows 10 (Version 10.0.19045 Build 19045)? I'm currently using a USB wireless mouse to drive the cursor. No sound comes out of the built-in speaker, though I can hear audio when plugging in headphones. Thanks in advance for any help!

Hi:

The only suggestion I can offer would be to try the W10 audio and touchpad drivers from this model notebook:

Touchpad:

Audio:

Hi Paul, thanks for the info and the links. They seemed promising, but unfortunately these weren't able to restore the missing functionality. This was a bit of a last resort, so I went ahead and re-installed Windows 11, which also restored the functionality. This laptop will just have to be a Windows 11 laptop! Cheers for the help, though.

You're very welcome.

Sorry that the W10 drivers from the other model didn't work for you.
