Earlier, I verified that my HP Spectre x360 - 13's Thunderbolt services are not running, and are not detecting any Thunderbolt peripherals when connecting to the Sonnet Breakaway Box 550W egpu. The device is listed compatible with this laptop but the GPU inside the enclosure will always run at 0%. I am not exactly sure what is causing the issue, as the GPU is detected in the task manager, though it never seems to run even when the integrated intel GPU is disabled. Does anybody have any experience with this type of problem and know what to do about it?

@palatablesauce I suggest you check if other devices are working fine on the USB ports of the device to ensure this isn't a port issue,
Also,
Try updating this BIOS version : click here to download and let me know if it works
If the issue persists, please download and run the HP Support Assistant from this Link: Click here
HPSA will automatically look for the latest available drivers, BIOS and Firmware for your Notebook
