HP are collecting my HP SPECTRE X360 14-ef2017n9 laptop convertible.
No power, no charge nothing. They sent me new cable for some reason.
Makes no difference. Before they pick it up I need to back up all my data. Which means removing the back to get to HD. Is this possible? I have a HD cage and external HD.
Or take it to a professional.
£2000 I paid for this laptop several months ago. Not happy.

Hi @SMiLEYSMiLE1,
Welcome to the HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query. I will be glad to assist you.
I see that you are sending the PC in for repair and before that you want to take a back up of the data.
You will have to take the laptop to a local store to get the data backed up if you have never worked on removing and replacing a hard drive to avoid damaging the laptop.
Please click “Accepted Solution” if you feel my post solved your issue, it will help others find the solution. Click the “Kudos/Thumbs Up" on the bottom right to say “Thanks” for helping!
