For the past week I have been trying to unlock my MPM (Manufacturing Programming Mode). I've tried everything but taking my CMOS out for 5-10 minutes. I do not want to risk breaking anything and I have no idea where it is because the internet does not have any images that I've seen with a CMOS battery showing. I use the BIOSConfigUtility by running these commands:
BIOSConfigUtility64.exe /get:config.txt
BiosConfigUtility64 /SetConfig:config.txt
While editing the text file by changing it around to make it look like this:
Manufacturing Programming Mode
*Unlock
Lock.
I did this way too many times and never got the Manufacting Programming Mode Unlocked. I proved this by editing my serials in the config or changing my serials then using this command BIOSConfigUtility64.exe /get:config.txt to verify if my settings have been changed which they have not. Thank you in advance I have never seen anything relating to this with a Victus HP Gaming Laptop.
