I have just purchased a trail camera, and connected it via usb to my HP laptop to input the date/ time. It showed as USB PHY 2.0 in USB drive(F:)
I finished doing what I needed to do, saved the file, exited the file then closed the file app completely. When trying to eject the usb device I’m getting an alert: The application’\Device\HarddiskVolume4\Windows\System32\Searchindexer.exe’ is preventing this device from being stopped. Close the application and then try to stop the device again.
HELP! I have no idea what to do next, and I’m sitting here with everything still connected, but need to shut down and go out!

What is your camera ? Why you need to input date/time from computer ? For safely remove now, please turn your computer off normal way.
Regards.
