Hi! I just bought a second hand Elitebook 840 G6 and the previous owner haven't got the BIOS password.
The computer is in mint condition and I'm very fond of it.
So, I wonder if there is a way to change the backlight timeout for the keyboard with a HP software.
I know that Dell have a software (Enhancement Pack) that you can use to control the lightning time and I hope HP have as well.

Hi!
Thanks for the reply!
I know that I can change the backlight timeout in BIOS, but since I can't enter ther BIOS, I can't do that.
BIOS it password protected on my computer and the previous owner have't got the password.

Hi!
I know that you can't ask for help to bypass the BIOS password, tha's why I'm not asking about that!
I'm asking about a HP software, like Dells "Enhancement Pack" to change the backlight time.
So to be clear I'm not trying to do anything strange with my BIOS, I just want to change the keyboard backlight timeout.
Best regards - Jorgen.
