I don't think it is your machine from day one. Did you run HP tools to upgrade to TPM 2.0 ?

Regards.

Yes, many HP machines were updated years ago (including G1, G2, G3, G4 using software. You missed the boat that why I believe you are NOT the owner of your machine. By the way on the g5 series, TPM 2.0 is there by default

You still did not tell my what is the original of your machine ? Did you play around with its hardware such as replacement something ?

Regards.

I bought this second hand and came with the bios locked. I never had to go to the bios ever so didnt think it was an issue when I bought it. Came with Win11 21H2 and that was ok but recently came up with the message to say it that version of Win 11 is out of service. It has been stuck there ever since being unable to upgrade to the latest version of Win11 due to TPM being on version 1.2 .

Anyway there was an HP bios update (Q78) to go to the latest which was completed successfully but TPM version still remain at 1.2

I tried to run the TPM config64 utility via C:SWSetup/SP87753 but could not run due to Virtualisation being enabled. I cant enable that as I cant get to the bios. 😞

Sorry that is too far and I don't know what did OLD user do. He/she may replace something because my machine came with TPM 20. ORIGINALLY. The funny thing it runs Windows 11 and now complaints for someting.
