AIO 22-C0015t
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I am trying to install the chipset drivers for my AIO.  It installs the Intel Chipset Installation Utility and Driver and the Intel Trusted Execution Engine Interface Driver.  When I try to  install the Intel Management Engine Interface (MEI) Driver, I get a 2 log files and a FATAL ERROR dialog box.

I will add the log files in a reply as they both exceed character count.  Here is a pic of the dialog error I get.

@RandumbName Welcome to HP Community!

I understand that you are unable to install the drivers.

Do not worry. I will try to fix the issue.

Please update the BIOS and then try for the MEI drivers.

HP PC Hardware Diagnostics UEFI 7.5.2.0 (SP101502) is released. Click here to download from the HP FTP site

If the issue still persists, please update the windows update.

Windows Updates -

1) In the search box, type, and open Windows Updates.

2) Check for updates.

3) If the updates are available, click on install and restart the computer.

I understand your concerns.

Please try to download the drivers from the Intel website and check.

If the issue still persists, please perform the system reset.

Have a nice day!!

Thank you @Praveen196!

I had already updated the BIOS.  I ran the Diagnostic tool and it found no issues with anything.  Also, my Windows is up to date.

I am downloading the Management Engine driver from Intel.  If it doesn't work, I will be happy to start from fresh.  It might be best with all the attempts made so far.

Anyhow,  thanks again for your help on this.  I will be back to mark 'Solutions' once I get done 😋.

EDIT:  Had same luck with Intel driver from Intel website.   Installed HP Support Assistant and it didn't not list the Intel driver as needing to be installed.  I really think its part of the latest Windows build TBH.

I will reinstall and use the Support Assistant to get things set up.  I may try creating Cloud USB Recovery media and just getting the drivers from the SWSetup folder and using those.

Will keep this updated as to the easiest steps to do with a clean install of Windows 10 Professional for this driver.

Thank you for the update.

I suggest you download and run the HP Support Assistant from this Link: https://www8.hp.com/us/en/campaigns/hpsupportassistant/hpsupport.html?jumpid=va_r602_us/en/any/psg/p...

HPSA will automatically search for all the latest drivers for your Notebook

  1. Click My devices in the top menu, and then click Updates in the My PC or My notebook pane.

  1. Click Check for updates and messages to scan for new updates.

  1. Review the list of updates. Updates with a yellow information icon are recommended. Updates with a blue information icon are optional.
  2. Click the update name for a description, version number, and file size.
  3. Select the box next to any updates you want to install, and then click Download and install.

Also, ensure Windows is up to date

Have a nice day!!

@Praveen196... I am going to offer you some suggestive help.  Please read what the user is posting as you come off almost as 'trolling' us through your mis-led and incomplete replies.  I am not trying to be rude and I know you might be working with 5 or 6 threads at one time, yet its been extremely frustrating.  I do thank you for your attempts.

I think the issue is that Micorsoft Windows 10 build 1903+ has a more updated version of this driver.  As I recall, this driver has been the culprit of a few exploits on the chip itself over the past 3 years.

Anyhow, sadly I have to report that while I was attempting to fully reset my machine I broke the screen changing the CMOS battery 😑.  It might have a HP Care Contract still on it, we will have to check the original receipt and I still dont know that would be covered.

Otherwise, I am going to unhook the touch-screen from the MoBo and run through the HDMI... or try.  If this works and I can get things up, just without the screen, Ill come back an update on the progress of getting the driver to install.

3)Enter the serial number of your device or select let HP detect your product option.
