Hello,
BIOS update is recommended, from 01.15.00 to 01.16.01
When trying to perform the update it says "An error occurred when flashing firmware."
Please advise.
Thanks!

At the bottom line, an update of the BIOS from a USB drive bypassed the issue with the direct update (instructions available in the 'Bios Flash.htm' file, which is part of the update package).
Before solving this myself, local HP support rep. has claimed that the cause for the issue was insufficient space in the EFI system partition, although the size of the bin file of the new ver. is exactly the same as the previous one.
He also claimed that the update is adding the new ver. on top of the old one, and not replacing (which was a quite weird claim).
So, finally, after successful update from a USB drive, the used/free space of the EFI system partition locks exactly the same as before the update, which certainly indicates the new ver. replaced the old one.
