Product: HP 250 G8 Notebook PC (1T4J8AV)
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 11

I can connect a second monitor via my hdmi port and can select extend display from the operating system. The display app  "identify screens" shows the external monitor as number 2. The monitor displays the taskbar but I cannot access the screen with the mouse. Is this funtion unavailable for my laptop or have I missed something?
