I want to poke of senior management of HP regarding ongoing fraud/scam in the name of HP extended warranty. I have a HP laptop, warranty of which expired on November 9, 2023. I online reached out to HP support for extended warranty. There upon I received a call and followed up with a quotation from ARM Infoserve (I) Pvt. Ltd. of for Rs. 14000/- for two years. On the call they represented themselves as calling from HP. I have a suspicion about the quotation and company. I don't know why HP customer support redirects the sales to another company and under what authority my private data has been shared with a third party without my consent.
HP need to look into this and take whatever legal action to save people from scammers and also retain its name.
