Purchased an extended warranty for my brand new laptop the middle of Nov 2022.
The initial 12 month warranty is subsequently being listed by HP to reflect a start date of 03/01/2022. Not the actual purchase date, and shows an expiration of 04/04/2023. This is not even close to the 1 year I was to have upon purchase. I also at time of purchase got a 3 year care pack added. I have not had the extended warranty added, despite submitting evidence of the purchase via a dispute to HP.
When I check my warranty status via https://support.hp.com/us-en/checkwarranty , the serial number of my laptop is not recognized.
I have also noticed that besides my warranty start date not being correct with the actual purchase date, the receipt for the date of purchase shows a product number of the device. That product number and the product number of the laptop are not the same. Is this an issue that should be looked at?
This laptop was customized from the web site for purchase. With everything I am experiencing, I am starting to wonder if this is truly a new laptop as ordered or a refurbished unit. Either way, the laptop performs as needed and as far as I am aware is not missing anything upgrade wise that I customized the date of purchase.
I am hopeful that someone can help me to have the warranty status be correct to reflect the actual purchase date of the laptop, and the 3 year care pack agreement activated or kindly refund my 3 year care pack purchase.

Thank you for thge reply. I missed this response, will be looking harder for future replys.
This did not work, I got the same result as when I had tried that page before. Tells me that they are unable to match my product based on the information provided.
What to do now please?
