FUNCTIONS OF F1,F2,F3,....... LIKE F12 FOR FLIGHT MODE

friends, as the subject line mention i like to know the functions of f1,f2,f3......keys while using with out FN key combination.

for example f12 key for turn of and turn on flight mode.

could anybody write it for me please?

Hi,

The keys are assigned the following functions.

f1      Windows help

f2      Lower screen brightness

f3      Increase screen brightness

f4      Select screen output options

f5      Toggle keyboard backlight on/off ( on models without a backlit keyboard, this key will be blank )

f6      Mute/Unmute audio

f7      Lower audio volume

f8      Increase audio volume

f9      Skip back one track ( ie when playing music in a media player )

f10   Pause/play toggle for current music track/video

f11   Skip forward one track

f12   Toggle Airplane mode On/off

Prt Sc   Take a screenshot - the captured image can be pasted into an application such as WordPad

Regarding the touchpad, there is no physical key to turn it on or off, however you may be able to do this by double-tapping the top left corner of the pad as this will toggle the touchpad On/Off on some models - see the image below.
