Product: HP Stream - 14-ax020wm

I was given this laptop and have tried EVERYTHING to factory reset it. I have no password to said laptop. I was told it had been factory reset and would not require a password and now the original owner will not answer their messages. I know I should’ve checked before taking it home and that’s my mistake but I honestly just want to be able to do my online classes. Please help.

Hi:

 

That model PC is supported by the HP cloud recovery tool which you can use to create a bootable USB recovery drive that will reinstall W10, the drivers and the software that originally came with the PC.

 

Here is an info link for how to use that utility...you will need to use a PC running Windows 7 64 bit or newer and a 32 GB USB flash drive to create the bootable recovery drive.
