Welcome to HP support community.

Which application are you using to open the .jpg file?

When do you get the error?

Reply with the requested information for more assistance.

Cheers.

I use App "photos".  Which is in-build app.

Should I want to download any app instead of "photos" app.???

Open Start, type: powershell
Right click PowerShell
Click Run as administrator

Type the following command then hit Enter, exit PowerShell then restart, then try updating through the Store again.
Get-AppXPackage | Foreach {Add-AppxPackage -DisableDevelopmentMode -Register “$($_.InstallLocation)\AppXManifest.xml”}
Check if you can launch the Microsoft Store, then update the apps.

If this does not work, I recommend you attempt a system reset.

Refer this HP document for the steps to do system reset:- Click here

Let me know how it goes.

To thank me for my efforts to help you, please mark my post as an accepted solution so that it benefits several others.

Cheers.
