HP G255 G8 Notebook
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

The company ordered HP 255 G8 Notebook for someone to use and then we bought a USB-C Docking G5 to go along with it. I was setting it up through the USB-C port and connector for both devices. It was detecting the G5 station but still wasn't able to connect fully. Like the station would turn the laptop off but not back on. I know usually we would receive a message about giving it permission but nothing popped up. Does the notebook not have enough power?

It will turn off when you turn your machine off and when you turn it on it also turn your machine on. Your machines use 45W or 65W charger, the dock should has up to 100W out therefore it should be enough power.

Regards.
