My fingerprint scanner hasn't been working for a couple days now, and I've went through the drivers and everything's updated but yet it still isn't showing up as a sign in option anymore. I also ran malware and cleaners and my PC has no viruses, I have ran out of ideas to find a solution.

Hi @Cmckarns,
Welcome to HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
I'm sorry to hear that your HP ENVY X360 15m-Eu0's fingerprint scanner is not working. Here are some troubleshooting steps you can try.
- Check if the fingerprint scanner is enabled in the BIOS. Restart your computer and press the F10 key to enter the BIOS. Look for the "Biometric Device" option and make sure it is enabled.
- Check if the fingerprint scanner is enabled in Windows. Go to Settings > Accounts > Sign-in options, and under "Windows Hello Fingerprint," make sure the option is turned on.
- Update the fingerprint scanner driver. Go to the HP website and download the latest driver for your device. Install the driver and restart your computer.
- Try using a different finger or re-enroll your fingerprint. Sometimes, the fingerprint scanner may not recognize a particular finger. Try enrolling a different finger and see if it works. You can also try deleting the existing fingerprint and enrolling it again.
I hope this helps.
Take care and have a good day.
