the fingerprint scanner option is unavailable after upgrading to windows 10 even though the drivers have been installed and its also present on my driver list.

 

the option for me to sign in with fingerprint is unavailable.

 

please help out.

Hi:

 

I believe you need to install the HP Client Security Manager software in order to enroll and login with your fingerprint.

 

HP Client Security Manager provides enhanced Windows login and website single-sign-on capabilities. Security Manager is also the host for HP Client Security plugins, and therefore should be installed before other Client Security modules. This package is provided for supported models running a supported operating system.
