Product: HP Elite x2 1012 G2 Tablet
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 11

I installed the nedded drivers for the fingerprint scanner to function.

Yet when i go into windows settings under fingerprint recognition it says that its currently unavailable.

Is there any way to fix this?

How did you install Windows 11 ? HP does NOT supply drivers for Windows 11 because machines are NOT native Windows 11 compatible (does not meet requirements).

 

Please re-install Windows 10 driver for your machine

 

                https://ftp.hp.com/pub/softpaq/sp135501-136000/sp135737.exe
