I have this windows 11 problem that I can't find anywhere on YT or Google.
Everything seems fine when I launch Photoshop but when I use the brush tool a partial black screen appears. The cursor sits on top of it and the black screen moves along with the cursor. Meaning you can't see the black screen when I put the cursor at the bottom and the screen will go completely black if I hover to the very top.
This also happens when I use Da Vinci resolve. When I drag an effect to the timeline same thing happens.
Same problems happened in excel. But I seemed to fix it when I disable hardware graphics acceleration.
Black screen can't be seen in screenshot or screen recording.
Task manager also affected.
Black screen also affects external display.
Windows is up to date.
Asus i5 laptop, less than a year since bought.
Please let me know what to do.
i do this step but not fix this error
1. Install the latest Windows updates.
2. Update or Rollback the GPU driver in the Device Manager.
Open Device Manager >> click Display Adapters >> right- click your NVidia driver >> click Update Driver.
If the system says that you have the latest driver installed. Try to Roll back the driver. Right-click your NVidia driver >> click Properties >> click Driver tab >> click Roll back driver.
3. Clean uninstall the currently installed GPU driver using DDU then download and install the available driver from the GPU manufacturer's support website.
I hope this helps. Feel free to ask back any questions and keep me posted.
