Hello,

The latest BIOS file on the HP support site for model 15-F019DX does not install (version F.42).

Would someone please provide the latest BIOS files for this model?

Thanks in advance!

Hi:

There aren't any other newer BIOS files available.

If you are not at version F.41, did you try that version?

Hi Paul,

Thanks for the response.  I have tried F.41 and F.40 - both files do not update the BIOS.

I will try F.38 next.

You're very welcome.

That is very odd that the BIOS updates don't work.

I was finally able to get the F.42 BIOS update to install by doing the following:

BIOS was originally at F.02 and I was able to update to F.29 without any issues.

From version F.29 I was able to update all the way to F.42.

Not sure why the update kept failing when attempting to go from F.02 all the way to F.42.

I was attempting to update the BIOS on two 15-F019DX laptops to version F.42, and both acted the same way.

Just wanted to share what I discovered.

Thanks!

You're very welcome.

That's great news that you were able to update the BIOS incrementally.

No need to worry about BIOS updates anymore since it appears none were released for 5 years.
