Hp Notebook 1515-bs212wm

I have an HP 15-bs212wm, it runs slower than hell and it gets hot. So I took the back off of it, and there's no cooling fan in here. it doesn't look like they're ever was. it's the only laptop I've ever seen that doesn't have one does. HAS anyone else notice this, or is this standard on this particular model

Hi:

Yes, that is the way notebooks made in the last several years with the Intel Pentium and Celeron processors are designed...to run without a cooling fan due to their being low power processors.

They do run hot.

I have a HP Stream Pro that has the Celeron N3450 no fan, and it does get pretty hot after a while.

I don't know why the hardware engineers thought this would be a good idea--other than to save a little battery life due to not having a running fan.

Meanwhile other components are at risk of damage by heat.
