Hello, I have Windows 8.1 installed, but support is running out, can I switch to Windows 10?

Hi:

You can, but there is no W10 graphics driver for the Intel/AMD switchable graphics adapters your notebook comes with, so the graphics may not work correctly after the upgrade.

If you want to try out W10, you can upgrade for free by making a bootable USB installer with the media creation tool from the link below:

Download Windows 10 (microsoft.com)

After the installation media is created, open the flash drive in Windows Explorer and double click on the setup application to begin the upgrade process to W10.

If things don't work right on W10, you have 10 days to go back to W8.1 as long as you don't delete any of the installation files or the Windows.old folder.

Go back to Windows 8.1 - Microsoft Support
