I don't know if it's relevant here, but I got the HP 240 G10 Notebook delivered from the store here in Italy a month ago. I'm a student so, getting a good machine, from a reliable source was my priority. The machine started overheating from the second I turned it on, and customer service was awful, having me do the same diagnostic steps again and again, knowing it didn't work the first few times. Now, I've worked in CS so I know how this works, I was put on wait while I was calling various departments to help me fix my issue. Since I'm a working student I was so frustrated by the end of it, I decided to let it go. One month in, the device keeps crashing in the middle of my work and keeps "running into problems", the touchpad is bent from the right side and the overheating and noise continues.
I've been a loyal HP user for years but this has been my worst experience with them, I'm never buying HP again, the staff is very unhelpful and now I've wasted so much money it feels like such a dent in my pocket with this dead machine that I keep trying to make work.
