HP Pavilion 15-p143cl
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

After creators update install and final reboot the error message read, no accelerometer hardware found. I had this problem before and followed the posts to fix it after upgrading to Windows 10. This time nothing I do corrects the problem. No matter which sp (62981, 71714, etcetera) I use I get the same error message, The HP DriveGuard driver cannot install, the Accelerometer hardware is not present or supported on this unit. (Click OK to exit). I even went back to HP's driver site and tried to reinstall DriveGuard from the drivers page.  I have spent 5 days playing with this problem and getting the Creators update to function without draggiging and freezing at virus updates for Windows Defender and Microsofts Edge slow response. I ran sfc/ scannow and DISM /Online /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth. I did have to clean out the download cache using the instructions someone posted to get restore health to fix a corrupted and or missing file in the creators update. I retried the 3D driveGuard after repairs were made but still get the same error message of no accelerometer or hardware found on trying to reinstall the program. I no longer get the message no accelerometer found after booting up just when trying to reinstall it. All is functioning as it should so far except the one critical component that I rely on, and that's the 3D DriveGuard.  Is there a 3D Drive Guard fix available now or is there one comming? Thanks.

Try the latest version...
