Hi:
That model is not supported by HP for W7.
You should be able to use the W7 32 or 64 bit drivers and software from the HP 6910p notebook, which has the same chipset.

Hi:
Very easy to manually install the vista driver.
You downloaded this file and ran it, correct?
https://ftp.hp.com/pub/softpaq/sp39501-40000/sp39558.exe
So, if you did not delete the driver installation folder, do this...
Go to the device manager, and click to expand the display adapters device manager category.
There should be a standard vga adapter listed there. There might also be a Video Controller device listed under an Other devices category in the device manager.
Click on either one you see. Click on the driver tab. Click on Update Driver.
Select the Browse my computer for driver software option, and browse to the driver folder that was created when you ran the file.
That folder will be located in C:\SWSetup\sp39558.
Make sure the Include Subfolders box is checked and the driver should install.
Then restart the PC.
