Product: HP 635 Multi-Device Wireless Mouse

I'm using the HP 635 Multi-Device Wireless Mouse both on my HP notebook and on my Microsoft Surface Pro. The Surface Pro tablet is managed by my employer, so I don't have administrator privileges on this device. I have installed HP Accessory Center on both devices using the Microsoft Store app.

 

HP Accessory Center works fine on my HP notebook. On my work device however, I can configure all options except Button Assignment. No matter what option I select for a mouse button, the settings do not take effect. There are no error messages, it's just nothing happens.

 

Alright. The configuration adjustments I made disappeared. After trying again it suddenly worked. Issue is solved it seems.
