Hi @FVILATUNA,

Welcome to the HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query. I will be glad to help you.

Yes, HP Access Control version 16.8 is compatible with Microsoft Windows Server 2022, but with some important considerations.

HP officially supports HP Access Control (HPAC) on a range of Windows operating systems, including Windows Server editions, provided the correct version of HPAC is used and the system meets the minimum requirements. Version 16.8 includes updates that improve compatibility with newer Windows environments, including Windows Server 2022, though HP may not explicitly list every OS in the download portal.

What You Should Do

  1. Download HP Access Control 16.8 Software
You can get the latest version directly from HP’s official site:
👉 HP Access Control Software Software and Driver Downloads | HP® Support

  2. Review the Administrator Guide for v16.8.1
This guide includes setup instructions and compatibility notes:
👉 HP Access Control (HP AC) Administrator Guide - ENWW

  3. Check for Windows Server 2022-specific notes
If Windows Server 2022 isn’t explicitly listed, HP recommends contacting support to confirm compatibility or request updated drivers.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have an amazing day!
