I'm getting the following error message on my Envy x360 notebook:
Compatibility Assistant
This app can't run on this PC
HP Accelerometer
HP Accelerometer doesn't work on this version of Windows. An updated app may be available.
I believe that this error message started appearing after a Windows Update, so perhaps the driver for the HP Accelerometer needs to be updated? Neither Windows Update or HP Support Assistant are offering an updated accelerometer driver.
Can someone help me resolve this problem? Thanks!

The software/driver is useless on a laptop with ssd. You can uninstall it completely. Have no idea why it was even installed on there.

Please try to download and install HP 3D DriveGuard Software for your machine:

Hello banhien,
Upon doing a little research, I got the impression that the function of the HP accelerometer is to park the heads on the hard drive if it detects the laptop is falling and about to hit the ground, is that correct? If so, then the problem is this laptop does not have a hard drive, only a SSD. So the question is, do I still need this driver, and why did HP install this driver in a laptop that doesn't have a hard drive? Is there any other function this driver performs, other than to park the heads?
