HP Active Pen as remote for Power Point

HP Recommended
Spectre x360 13
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hello

is there a way to use an hp active pen (SPEN-HP-02) as a remote for MS Power Point to navigate through the slides during presentations? I know the two buttons on the side can be programed using hp Pen Control, but so far, I could only make it work if the pen is almost touching the screen, which is no good for me.

I want to use it to click through the slides from a distance (like 10 feet away from the laptop).

Thanks Ingo

I think you want a presentation mouse / presentation remote.

Examples...

HP Store - Elite Presenter Mouse

Best Presentation Remotes for Windows PCs in 2020

The stylus, as you have discovered, requires that the device be touched to the screen.
