Product: HP ENVY x360 15.6 inch 2-in-1 Laptop PC 15-ew0000 (549V8AV)

I got an hp active pen g2 and connected it via Bluetooth successfully. but none of the buttons works and the touch does not work. It is fully charged. The pen settings app also says it is not compatible with my device. I tried updating the drivers, but it the hp website has been trying to detect mine for over 5 mins and still hasn't finished. I was really excited for this. Please help!
