Operating System: Microsoft Windows 11 21H2
When performing module “Optimize your performance” within the HP Assistant Support Assistant it incurs error: “The specified module could not be found. Exception from HRESULT: 0x8007007E”
The other modules within HP Support Assistant seem to work fine.
Any help to solve this error would be much appreciative.

HP support assistant won't run freshly installed on W10 V22H2 with all updates. It has been a problem for about 2 months now and it seems HP doesn't care. I repair HP laptops and refuse to install the support assistant. It is complete garbage now.

There is a newer version of the support assistant available for download now - and it seems to have solved the installation issues, but the optimize still does NOTHING. It doesn't remove browser cache files.
Version 9.23.20.0
You can download it from HP here:

・The performance optimization error may not be a bug, but an error if the conditions for execution are not met.
・If [Delete search index] is executed repeatedly, an error will occur the second time because there is no file to be deleted due to the deletion operation performed the first time.
・As with other errors, it seems that the optimization conditions are not met, rather than a problem with the PC.

Keyss, not sure if it’s either “conditions not met” or a “problem with the PC”. It appears to be a bug within the app it's self.
My error message reflects; “The specified module could not be found. Exception from HRESULT: 0x8007007E”.
