A black box with the HP audio controls (volume, microphone, etc) has appeared at the top of my screen and I cannot seem to remove it. I searched different fora but was unable to find a solution. Has anyone encountered this problem and knows how to remove this box? I can't move it nor see anything behind it. It also doesn't seem to have any functionality or effect any of my audio settings when I click on teh various icons.

Thank you.

Appfollower.exe is the file you are looking for.

It's part of the Conexant audio driver. Still don't know what causes it launch, but ending that executable makes it go away. I've taken to renaming the exe in c:\program files\conexant\flow to keep it from coming back
