All Elitebook 840 machines should already have webcam. HP Business Card Reader Software is the problem. I don't think the 840 series machines have option to add HP Business Card Reader and Software.

 

I believe you are asking for IR/3D webcam and Smart card reader. What is the generation of your 840 ? HP is selling HP EliteBook 840 G8 now.

@Banhien, thanks for the reply. how can i inbox you the full details of the technical specifications of the laptop i want to buy? or do you know any hp dealers selling it with AZERTY french keyboard and french OS, anything from 8th generation core i7.
