HP ENVY x360 - 15m-bq021dx
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Need to recover original HP software/Windows 10 install after replacing a broken screen. Somehow Windows ended up damaged. Unable to recover or repair using conventional methods so I decided to do a cloud recovery. Downloaded successfully but when it tries to install I get this:

"The recovery media creation attempt has failed"

Serial number: 1KS87UA#ABA

Error code:0xC00405

Not sure what to do next. It produced an event log but I have no idea what it all means.

If you cannot select the recovery media drive from the Boot Menu, disable Secure Boot and enable Legacy Mode in the BIOS. When prompted to run Recovery Manager from the hard drive or from media, select Run program from media, and then click Next. Select a language, and then click OK.
