When I enter my Product ID in HP Cloud Recovery Tool, it says "Product ID does not match or is invalid. Please contact HP support".

If you are referring to the same HP 15g-br016tx notebook where you want to install a M.2 SSD, the reason the product ID is not recognized is because HP withdraws Cloud recovery tool support for all consumer PC's that have reached 5 years of age.
Your only options to reinstall W10 would be to:
Use cloning software to clone the 2.5" mechanical hard drive's contents to the M.2 SATA SSD.
There are trial software cloning software programs such as Macrium Reflect which can do this for you.
Your other option would be to make a W10 USB installation flash drive with the Media creation tool from the link below and clean install W10 on the SSD.
After W10 has completed installing, you can install the drivers and available software from your notebook's support page.

Thank you for the response.
Yes, I am referring to the same HP 15g-br016tx notebook where I want to install a M.2 SSD.
But there is another reason. I have currently configured my system for dual boot that i.e. to run ubuntu.
To install M.2 SSD, I want to remove the ubuntu and install only window in SSD.
Can I achieve this in same way? How to remove OS from HDD after W10 USB installation flash drive on SSD?

You're very welcome.
I don't know anything about Ubuntu or dual booting OS's.
I find one installation of Windows per PC good enough for me.
I suppose that you will have to install Windows via the clean install route, on the new SSD since cloning will bring everything over to it.

You should be able to format the 2.5" drive after you have W10 installed on the new SSD by using the disk management utility in Windows.
Make sure you know which drive is which.
I think the 2.5" drive will be disk 0 and the SSD will be disk 1.
