HP Spectre 15-df1000 x360 Convertible
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

On the HP Command Center App, when my laptop starts are warm (on HP Recommended), I switch to "Comfort" and instead of cooling my device, it heats up and the fans start to accelerate. Then when I switch back to "HP Recommended," the device cools down but eventually does build up heat. I'm not even running any heavy apps in the foreground or background.

Before this happened when I turned on "Comfort" when my device was warm, the heat would start to build less and the device would be cooled down.

Unfortunately, that doesn't happen anymore. Why is this occurring and is there a fix? Any help is much appreciated.

I reviewed your post and I understand that the computer is overheating.

Don’t worry, I assure you I will try my best to get this sorted.

I recommend you update the BIOS and the graphics driver from the below link and check if it helps.
