Hi @LMAO_L,

Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

It seems like you're having an issue with the HP Pavilion Gaming - 15 Cool Sense feature after updating your laptop to Windows 11. Cool Sense is a technology designed to automatically adjust your laptop's cooling based on usage and temperature. If you're experiencing problems with it, here are a few steps you can take to troubleshoot the issue.

Check for Updates: Make sure that your laptop's drivers and firmware are up to date. HP might release updated software that is compatible with Windows 11. Visit the official HP website and look for any updates related to Cool Sense or your

laptop model.

Reinstall Cool Sense: If the issue persists, you could try uninstalling the Cool Sense software and then reinstalling it. Sometimes, software conflicts can lead to such issues. To do this, follow these steps:

  • Go to the "Apps & features" section in Windows 11 settings.
  • Find the Cool Sense software and uninstall it.
  • Download the latest version of Cool Sense from the official HP website and install it.

Compatibility Mode: If reinstalling doesn't help, you could try running the Cool Sense software in compatibility mode. Right-click on the Cool Sense executable file, select "Properties," go to the "Compatibility" tab, and try running it in compatibility mode for an earlier version of Windows (e.g., Windows 10).

Check Power Settings: Windows updates can sometimes reset power settings. Check your laptop's power settings to make sure they're configured correctly for gaming or high-performance mode, which may also impact cooling.

Check Cooling Performance: While Cool Sense is a helpful feature, laptops should have built-in cooling systems that work regardless of this software. If you notice overheating issues even with Cool Sense off, it could be a hardware issue like dust accumulation in the cooling system or a malfunctioning fan

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
