HP ENVY Notebook - 13-d008na
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hello

I have a problem with my HP ENVY Notebook - 13-d008na whereby the battery does not charge when the computer is on. It only charges when the computer has shut down.

I've read previous threads stating that one solution could be to update the BIOS. I am currently running on BIOS F35 and I believe the latest version is F48,

HP support website no longer provides download for this model so I can't find where to download the latest BIOS from. Can anyone provide me with a link or provide assistance?

Thanks

Hi:

The 13-d100 model series may use the same BIOS files as the 13-d000.

HP ENVY 13-d100 Notebook PC Software and Driver Downloads | HP® Support

If you click to expand the Revision History section on the F.50 BIOS update, it shows F.35 and F.48 as previous versions.

Can you let me know what your PC's system board ID is?

You can find your PC motherboard's BIOS System Board ID by:

In the search feature on the Windows taskbar:

Type: System Information

Run the app and look for the Baseboard Product line about 1/3 of the way down on the report.

The baseboard product info is the same as the motherboard System Board ID.

BIOS version F.50 has support for the following system board ID's:   80.E9, 80.E6, 80DA, and 80.D7.

BIOS version F.53 only has support for 80.E6.

Thanks for the reply. The baseboard product is 80DF and the current BIOS version is F35

You're very welcome.

Unfortunately, it does not appear that the BIOS updates for the 13-d100 model series has support for your motherboard's system board ID.

I also checked F.48 and F.44.

I looked everywhere I could think of to find a BIOS update for the 13-d000 model series with negative results, including previous forum posts related to the model series, so unfortunately, I won't be able to help you with your request.
