Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hello, I am new to the community and to forums so hello! Anyways, I've been experiencing problems with my HP Envy laptop. It has been crashing inconsistently. It would constantly freeze saying "Application has been blocked from accessing graphics hardware" multiple times. It would be fine after I close the application but it would restart. This issue is pronounced whenever I would try to go to "Windows HD Color" and "Video Playback" settings. It would also freeze sometimes when I enable "Hardware Acceleration" on applications. I tried updating everything. Graphics drivers, chipset, BIOS, etc. I, as well, uninstall the graphics driver and reinstall it. It is still constantly freezing. This issue makes my laptop really unusable. If there is a different way to solve this problem then PLEASE share because I bought this laptop for academics and I really need it.

It looks like you were interacting with @asmita6658, but he is out for the day & I'll be glad to help you out,

I'm the Barachiel & I'm at your service.

In this case, I would recommend you to re-start the notebook, keep tapping F10, and run a complete test to make sure there are no hardware failure's.

Keep me posted. 🙂

I'm sorry but the problem is still not solved. There isn't a hardware failure. I still have a few more months of my warranty, can I claim my warranty?

Thanks for the response.

Yes you can. Having said that, since it isn't look's like a hardware issue, I would suggest you to follow this link and try performing a complete system recovery, which would take it back to the factory settings. Please take a back up before trying this. 🙂

Keep me posted. 🙂

I try to enter Recovery and it displayed this error. I'm assuming it's a hardware issue? I've done tests and everything is working in order. It seems like the problem is not able to be solved. I would like to claim my warranty if possible. 20181224_221416[1].jpg
