Dear Support Community,
When can I expect to upgrade to version 24H2, from current Windows 11 Version 23H2 (Build 22631.4541)?
HP EliteBook 860 16 G10 (8B41) - 6V8W4AV
Tried to use "Windows Update" several times, but always received the message that "Windows 11 24H2 is not ready for my computer ;-)"
Thanks in advance for your reply.
Kind regards,
Jo_Peters

Hi:
Unfortunately, no one here would be able to give you an answer to your question.
However, according to this document, your PC has been tested by HP to support W11 24H2.
HP Business PCs and Workstations tested with Windows 11 | HP® Support
If you want to try out W11 24H2, you can update your current installation to 24H2 by clicking on the blue Windows Installation Assistant button at the link below (1st option).
You will be given the option to do an in-place upgrade to W11 and you will have 10 days to easily go back to 23H2 if things don't work as expected on 24H2 as long as you don't delete the upgrade files or Windows.old folder.
After 10 days, the Windows.old folder should be automatically deleted.
Otherwise, you will have to continue to wait until Microsoft pushes the update to your notebook.
