Hello,
I have a HP Elitebook 745 GB that will not turn on. I removed the battery and held the power button down for 30 seconds and the keyboard light briefly flashes and the Caps Lock and F11 keys stay light. Any ideas to try!!!!

Hello @Danq3 , how are you ?
Please, let's try an electrical reset:
1 - Remove the ac power from the equipment
2 - Press the power button for 1 minute
3 - Replace the ac power and let it charge for 10 minutes
4 - Try reconnecting
If the fault persists, you will have to request technical assistance.

Thanks for the recommendation. Here are the results:
After we releasing power button from being depressed for over a minute I saw a brief flash from the back lit keyboard. I then inserted AC Power the fan came on for about 30 seconds and while waiting for it to charge I saw the same brief flashes from keyboard every minute or so for the next 10 minutes. Then the big moment. I pressed the power button and nothing. Then I unplugged ac power, fan came on and put it in docking station. The power light on docking station did not turn on. I then ran engaged the docking station lock, fan came on and nothing.
