HI all

I have recently upgraded  my HP Elitebook 845 G7 to windows 11 22h2. With this upgrade the Synaptics FS7600 WBF Touch Fingerprint Driver errors out in device manager with "Windows has stopped this device because it has reported problems (Code 43)"

I have downloaded the latest driver for windows 22h2 from the HP support site but it dose not resolve the issue.

I have tried various options of uninstalling the driver - rebooting then installing the drive with admin rights etc but the problem still persists.

This problem only exists on windows 11 22h2. As I have downgraded the laptop with a clean build to windows 11 21h2 and the problem does not exist.

Rebuilt the machine again with windows 11 22h2 and the driver errors out.

Please can you advise how i can get windows 22h2 to not error on the "Synaptics FS7600 WBF Touch Fingerprint Driver"

Can the driver on the support page for Windows 11 22h2 be rectified ? or are we able to download an earlier version of the  driver to test if the problem persists.

Regards
