Laptop: 2023 HP Envy 17t
I made a mistake and made the laptop microphone unavailable as an audio input device. After that, my entire laptop audio interface disappeared and Windows wouldn't see it. There was no system audio avaialable I went to Microsoft and the suggestion was to contact HP. I downloaded and re-installed the suggested audio drivers, and nothing changed. I then reinstalled Windows under Recovery Options as "Reset this PC" and chose to keep all of my existing files.
After the Windows reset, I reinstalled the HP Drivers again and I could hear and play back audio through the laptop speakers, through plug-in (headphone jack) speakers, and through my USB Headset. However, the Bang & Olufsen software is not there anymore.
Currently, the system will not recognize audio input from my usb headset microphone. The system sees the microphone, but will not register any audio input from the microphone, and will not allow other applications to access the microphone.
Where do I download the Bang & Olufsen software and audio drivers?
Is there some other reason the system won't recognize the microphone after re-installing Windows?
