I'm a new Envy 360 owner who quickly discovered the inability to wake up the machine when folded into a tablet, like so many others.

Solution is to set the number of minutes after which the screen goes dark to be the same as the number of minutes until the machine goes to sleep. Then when the screen is disabled (goes dark) the machine is also asleep, and can be woken by pressing the power button on the keyboard.

If the number of minutes are not the same, in the time between the two you will have both the screen disabled (goes dark) and the keyboard disabled (still not asleep) so there is no way to interact with the machine.

(To help see this, press the keyboard function keys with leds, eg camera off, mic off. If the number of minutes is different you will see these leds still illuminated after the screen goes dark (ie not asleep and keyboard still disabled, including power button). Once the number of minutes to sleep has also passed these leds will also go out, and the power button is then enabled.)
