HP Recommended
Product: HP ENVY x360 14 inch 2-in-1 Laptop PC 14-es0000 (743T0AV)
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 11

HP Envy 14 inch laptop running W11. Used daily. Keyboard randomly stops working. Did troubleshooting before contacting HP tech support. All systems working without issues. Spent close to five hours with HP tech on the phone including a total reset of the machine. Was told this fixes 99.9% of the problem. Same problem reappeared in less than a week. Called HP tech again. Refused to do further troubleshooting and asked for a refund. This needed "escalation". Just got off the phone with the "escalator" who offered a refund 25% of the original price. HP will only refund the remaining amount of the one-year warranty. In this case 25%. Alternatively, I could send the laptop to HP for repair for a minimum of 7-10 business days. I cannot trust that HP will fix the problem. I will take the 25% as better than nothing and write off the remainder as a difficult lesson.  This post will appear on every HP Envy product page I can find.
