Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I have a problem with my  keyboard shortcuts controlling mute, microphone and camera. All of them switch on and off automatically.  Usually the switches are caused by programs, such as Zoom, or my laptop switching the default audio device.

 

This is causing problems, since I can never be sure when I am actually on mute. I would like to be able to lock the keys, so that I have to manually press the key, before anything happens. Is this possible?
