Bottom bar never budges have let it run for a full day and then some but never any movement from bottom progress bar.

@Vonhazze25,

Welcome to the HP Support Community!

I assure you I will try my best to get this sorted.

In order that I may provide you with an accurate solution, I will need a few more details.

  • When was the last time the computer was working fine?
  • Are you able to boot to Windows?
  • Have you made any software or hardware changes on the computer?
  • Have you performed any troubleshooting steps before posting?

While you respond to that, I recommend you follow the steps in the below article and check whether the issue is resolved.

Let me know how it goes and you have a great day!

If you wish to show appreciation for my efforts, mark my post as Accept as Solution. Your feedback counts!

Cheers!

Hello

Last time was running fine was over the summer. ~Mid June. Was performing a factory reset ~Mid Sept.

Didnt complete reset. Freezing during the rest and then shut down. Haven’t been able to load windows at all since.

Opening into HP InsydeH2O Bios Rev 5

Hard Drive and Memory Pass both scan Quick & Extended.

Downloaded Bios Update from HP support. Ran and Updated. Reset COMS.

All to same result.

Black HP logo screen.

Next Blue Screen with Black Window

X :// WINDOWS/windows32/.... or something to that effect.

Loading or running computer WIMINT:RSXL-5467.   Not exact but roughly

computer is always different if restart.

Then it pops into the HP File Based Instsller   Header across the top. Blue screen. White HP Software Instsllation window in middle.

Software never installs. Not hard drive writing sounds.  Just the fan and the never progressing, progression tracking bars.

Hard reset set doesn’t do anything.

Power on with Windows+B

2.2

Power On Window+V

reset confirmed

reboot same sequence every time only difference when the windows X:/WINDOWS/Windows32 the computer WINIMIT SFRE-3753 as an example is always different but same exact sequence and boot failure loop.

Thanks for for your help. I appreciate your time and efforts.

Thank you

EB

@Vonhazze25,

It is great to have you back and your patience is greatly appreciated.

As you have mentioned that you have already tried doing a reset and it didn't work. I recommend you talk to HP support and purchase a recovery media for your computer. Using the recovery media we can reinstall the operating system on the computer.

Here is how you can get in touch with the tech support.

1)Click on this link - www.hp.com/contacthp/

2)Select the product type.

3)Enter the serial number of your device or select let HP detect your product option.

4)Select the country from the drop-down.

5)You should see the HP phone support number or Chat option listed.

Good day! Take care 🙂

Cheers!
