HP G5 Dock and HP EliteBook 830 G8 Laptop 13"

Hello together,

I use a HP EliteBook 850 G5 together with an HP Dock G5. My company will upgrade the machine to an HP EliteBook 830 G8 Laptop 13" or HP EliteBook 850 G8, Laptop 15,6". 

Will the dock work with the new machine (especially the power button on the top of the dock)?

I tried it myself. Works just fine. Even the power switch on the dock works.
